An Object for Viewing explores the weight of unprocessed emotion through a cast of my own body. The process of casting served as a way to externalize internal sensations, giving form to the heaviness, pressure, and tension that often accompany intense emotional states. This work marked a shift in my practice, revealing the expressive potential of using the body as both subject and material. It opened up a more tactile, intuitive approach to form, one that continues to inform how I engage with material, process, and presence.
