Twin Tethers

2025, Cheesecloth, dirt, string, watercolor pigment, dimensions variable

Twin Tethers explores themes of connection, fragility, and transformation. Using organic materials and layered draping, the work evokes a sense of ritualistic binding that is simultaneously grounding and unraveling. It invites reflection on the tenuous threads, both literal and metaphorical, that hold us in tension between place, memory, and one another. Suspended by just two points, the piece embodies a delicate balance, suggesting both vulnerability and resilience in the bonds that tether us.
